Some highlights of Dave’s journey include:

In a startup, collaborated to build and grow a global, niche-dominating software solution for international engineering projects - learning the importance of the attention to detail, attention to the big picture, and attention to people.
In a midsize manufacturing company, held concurrent positions as VP of Engineering and VP of Marketing - developing a passion and appreciation for the power of integrated systems thinking.
In a software company, forged alliances with global industrial partners - discovering the power of collaboration and learning how small and accessible the global village actually is.
In several companies, implemented full-range marketing campaigns, local and global – strongly reinforcing the value of creativity, sizzle and fun and a focus on people, on customers.
In a large technology company, managed business development for a global product and service line - seeing the strengths and shortcomings of a command and control corporate culture.
In a manufacturing company, implemented ERP systems - learning the power of integration, the challenges of push production thinking, and how mass customization thrills customers.
In several companies, developed new products and brought them to market, ranging from CSA/UL approved electro-mechanical devices to software products to training courses - learning the cycle of R&D and commercialization.
In a software corporation, managed a technical support center – learning the importance of capturing customer experiences and using them to improve the whole system – end-to-end focus on the customer.
In several companies, developed, delivered and distributed training programs and documentation, including train the trainer and certify the trainer programs – learning the value of fun, clarity, and audience participation in the learning experience.
In a consumer appliance company, managed retail sales outlets and dealer networks – learning the importance of supply chain development, fair policy, diplomacy and the need for win-win-win solutions.
In all organizations - continuing to learn the importance of human relationships, of trust, and the true meaning of “people are our most important asset”.
In teaching training courses, performing in bands and choirs, teaching ballroom dancing, and public speaking throughout the years, have performed on stage for thousands – gaining a true appreciation for preparation and practice - it’s hard to make it look relaxed and easy!
